TESTIMONIALS FROM PAST BUYERS...

I'm not an IGS insider, but I just got treated like one. I just completed a purchase from Lenny G, vintagenationals.com. He was honest, helpful, and ended up sending me much more and much better than I expected or would have been happy with. I have one vintage national already. One of these days I'm going to get another, and forget ebay...I'll be buying from Lenny. Most of you already know what I'm about to say, but to all those lurkers and passer-bys on the forum like me, my totally unbiased advice...if your going to trust someone with a wad of money in return for something that can be as tricky to get as a good National, you can't do better than Vintage Nationals. -COMO

You are totally correct about dealing with Len- I have just got my second National from him-a beautiful Style 97 and before that a 1930 steel bodied Style 0-the best single cone National I have.
Len is a pleasure to speak with, easy to deal with and he takes all the mystery and worry out of buying a vintage instrument by going through each guitar and making sure they are up to a high standard- something that can't be said of the other dealers who specialize in Nationals.
Good luck with your new instrument and best wishes!

len, you da man! Amen brother, lenny got me the holy grail of vintage nationals for a blues player, an el trovador. It's awesome. I had been searching for a long time and finally got it from len. as far as i'm concerned len is the place to go to get a national. he's a great guy!
i really do need to do a review and post some sound clips on this guitar. it's off the hook. DALE G

I'm usually too lazy or afraid to post, but I've got to chime in with some love for Brother Len. It has been my pleasure to watch his little venture expand as well as his knowledge and expertise grow to the point that he has become the "go to" guy for Nationals for many. I bought my first Duolian from (competitor deleted ) for $3500. I was told it needed nothing and was,in fact, the guitar he enjoyed playing. After a $1500 visit to Marc Schoenberger(The Best Nat Repairman!!)for a cone, neck reset, tuners, etc.,it was playable. I was inexperienced and paid the price. Now that Lenny is on the scene, that type of scenerio need never happen. So thank you Len, for the near perfect L-00, the minty steel-bodied O, and the even mintier brass-bodied Style O. Because of you no one need fear buying a vintage National. Michael.

Just wanted to let everyone know who might be in the market for a vintage or new National that Len the proprietor, offers great service and an excellent product.

I am the happy and new proud owner/custodian of a 1930 Style 0(steel bodied) that I have just used in both California at The Monterey Bay Blues Festival and in France at The Vaison Jazz and Blues Festival.
The guitar sounds great and stood up to baggage handler abuse without missing a beat.
I have dealt with other dealers in the past(you know who they are) and none of them comes close to Len for his integrity and straight-shooting.
Happy Resonating,

You guys and your old Nationals! As far as new Nationals go I bought my Reso Rocket fm Len and it was a pleasant and easy experience. When I do get an old one, Vintage Nationals is where I'm going.

I've been both seller and buyer in transactions with Lenny involving one vintage and one brand-new National. The man is a class act -- I'm delighted to see that business is good at Vintage Nationals! -Russ Y

Chiming in here too! Len is a great guy to deal with and really honest and knowledgeable. I bought a 1997 Style 0 Deluxe and it was a good deal AND exactly what he said it was. I will be buying future instruments from him, for sure!
cheers

Aaaaahh! Len's a @#$%^& and a #$%@#.
Just kidding Lenster. Luv Ya! Now don't go "All George Gruhn" on us. No tourbus's stopping by your shop, OK? Keep up the great work. - John V in NYC

PS - I'll send you a clip of Steve James playing your/my Blackie (L-00) on television! He borrowed it for a taping when he was through NYC.

Ok Lenny my dad loves his national. He said that it is exactly what he wanted and he love the sound. He said that he is glad that it has all the imperfections that it gives the guitar some class. I wanted to thank you for working with me to get this done and let you know that you have made my dad a very happy blues man. Let me know if there is anything you need or if you ever happen to be in Indiana. You have free room an board on me. Not that you would ever want to come to Kokomo unless you want to see the giant tree stump and that gaint cow, that is our clame to fame. But still if you ever happen come my way I will make sure that you are taken care of. Thanks again Pat

The guitar arrived today safe and sound. It's beautiful. I love it. (STEEL O)
Thank you!
-Bill

Complete RESTORATION of Style O.... Len, I received the "O" Friday boy it looks great and sounds great. All I have to do is to learn to play it a little bit better than I can at this time. I will give it the old college try. Thanks for your help and expertise in the restoration. This a family heirloom and I will keep it in the family as long as possible. Again thanks for a job well done. A truly satisfied customer. Bob Smith

Hi Lenny,

So since yesterday I'm the happy player of a vintage Nat' Tricone
squareneck. Very happy cause it sounds amazing! Yesterday after
the concert of Na Palapalai (hawaiian band which sounds really
good !) in Paris, I felt on two Gypsy musicians palying jazz in a
little bar, and it gave me the desire to play swing on the beauty,
beacuse I knew that this style, as so much others, soud so good on
the tricone.

Thank you Lenny for make this possible, I hope I will
visit you one day in California.

Salute e pace. Paolo in FRANCE

See Paolo playing his new 31 tricone style 1 here!....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lh7t7j9W5Hs
