I began playing guitar 17 years ago after discovering and falling in love with pre-war blues. Within a year I had aquired a 1937 Gibson L-00 and a National Resonator guitar to emulate my favorite players..... Son House, Robert Johnson, Charley Patton, and Blind Willie Johnson. I fell in love with these instruments, and have been playing and collecting them ever since. Vintage Nationals offers high quality resonator instruments. Many of our guitars are incredibly rare pieces, some of which only a handful were ever made. I hope you enjoy our site and what we have to offer. I'll consider interesting and creative trades to help you aquire the instrument you desire. My purpose is to provide the world's largest selection of great playing vintage National guitars with no issues to deal with. I take pride in taking guitars with various issues and bringing them back to their original playability. Every guitar we get is taken apart, inspected, and any issues attended to.
